The RT200 is the only system that provides simultaneous FES arm and leg therapy.  This type of therapy is called "hybrid" therapy. 

Hybrid therapy on FES machines is often sought due to the heightened amount of beneficial cardiovascular activity such a machine can produce as opposed to leg or arm therapy alone.

The RT200 uses the SAGE smart stimulation system which allows users to select up to 10 individual muscle groups in their arms, legs, core abdominal, and erector spinal muscles.

The RT200, combined with SAGE smart stimulation, allows your therapist to use FES to target the muscle groups you lack strength in, making each session on the RT200 FES cycle  completely unique, personalized, and optimized for maximum efficacy.

The RT200 is used by sitting in a dedicated seat while you're secured by a three point harness. Your feet are secured to the footplates while you use your hands to grip the hand grips - a position that provides you with effective and targeted hybrid FES therapy.

In most circumstances, you would gradually build up to daily one hour sessions, but never more than one session per day. However, all treatment is personal, according to your needs.   Your clinician will prescribe the usage and frequency of the treatment which is appropriate for you.
