RT300-Supine
FES arm and leg cycling from a bed
The RT300-Supine provides FES arm and leg cycling from a bed. It is ideal for use in the ICU, acute rehabilitation environments, or for those patients who are confined to bed at home . Integrating the RT300-Supine into your service can achieve improvement in clinical and patient centred outcomes, as well as reducing the net cots of ICU admission and longer term effects of ICU Acquired Weakness.
Mounted on an expandable table fitting over and around beds, this allows it to be brought to the patient. Height is easily adjustable via the motorised table up to 47.5″ (120cm)
The RT300-Supine accommodates beds up to 46.5″ (118cm) wide including bariatiric beds and comes with:
- An antimicrobial touch screen
- Easily cleanable surfaces
- Cleanable gel pads for skin protection
- Adult and paediatric pedals
- Adjustable cranks for patient size and asymmetry
Supine FES cycling can help prevent muscle atrophy, improve skin condition and promote wound healing.
The electric cart facilitates correct positioning over the end or side of the bed, while restraints hold the system in position. Adjustable calf supports secure the legs while the feet are placed in the footrests. A pulley system controls leg abduction and adduction during therapy sessions.
