Batec Electric 2 – turning your manual wheelchair into an electric handbike
Hot on the heels of the recently announced limited edition Batec Scrambler comes the new Batec Electric 2. As the name suggests this model is an upgrade to the original Batec Electric.
Incorporating the many technological advances that Batec have made since the launch of the original electric wheelchair attachment, back in 2008, the Electric 2 now boasts:
- A reverse gear to improve manoeuvrability in tight situations
- An all-in-one LCD information screen
- An 18” wheel with a wider and ultra-grip exclusive tyre
With a maximum speed of 23 km/h, the Electric 2 is perfect for both the city and off-road countryside travel. It is also perfect for motoring up hills with its new and exclusive ultra-grip tyre, which can be supplemented by additional clip-on weights, to further increase grip.
The standard version of the Electric 2 costs £5695, while the quad’ version is £5995. Both models are expected to be available around Dec 2018. We are expecting demand for the Electric 2 to be high, so make sure you reserve your bike today to cut down on the amount of time you will have to wait to get your hands on it!
For anyone that orders the Batec Electric 2 before we have demo models available, we will provide it at the same price as the Mini – £4995 – a saving of £700 on the non-quad version!
Batec Electric Purple
If you are still thinking of getting the original Batec Electric, then there is currently a special limited edition of this model still available. The Batec Purple, as the name suggests, has a special purple chassis and white components.
The Purple is available in both standard and quad’ versions.
